Memorial Day – Honoring Those Who’ve Served

On Memorial Day, we come together as a nation and community to honor and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the military, including individuals like our very own Take Stock in Manatee Mentors who have exemplified the highest standards of service and dedication.

Pete Clarke, a Lieutenant Colonel who served in the Army for 25 years, is a true hero. Throughout his distinguished military career, he demonstrated exceptional valor and was awarded the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star V, and a Purple Heart.

Randy Carter, a Lieutenant in the Navy and a Naval Nuclear engineer, also made significant contributions to our nation’s defense. During his 5-year service, he earned the prestigious Submarine Warfare Pin, certifying his ability to operate submarines.

We also extend our appreciation to Bruno Kapacinskas for his dedicated service in the Army for three years. Additionally, we honor his father’s service in the Army during World War II, recognizing the legacy of military dedication within their family.

On this Memorial Day, we honor the sacrifices and accomplishments of these individuals who have selflessly served our country, ensuring our freedom and security.
