Apply today to become a Take Stock Manatee Mentor. Here’s How:
1. Click Apply Today to begin the application process. You will be redirected to our virtual document platform. The progress of your application will be autosaved.
2. You will receive an email with the following information:
- Finger Print Checklist – Information will be sent on the process for the Field Print finger printing process.
- Training – Begin completing the following training:
- Mentor Training Video – This can be completed before submitting your mentor application.
- TSIC App Training Video – This can be completed before submitting your mentor application.
3. Pre-Mentor Meeting – Once your application has been submitted an email will be sent to you to schedule a virtual meeting.
4. Mentor Match – After you’ve completed a virtual pre-mentor meeting and your background check has been approved (via the Field Print process), you will be matched to a mentee as scholars become available.
Mentor Training Videos & Tips
Mentors Recruitment & Support – Your donation helps our team recruit, train, and support our mentors who selflessly guide, coach, and encourage their student mentees via weekly meetings during the school year spanning as early as sixth grade through high school graduation. During the year, we periodically host mentor events to thank them for their contribution and coordinate mentor educational programs – such as how to obtain financial aid – to help our mentors better assist our students.
