ABOUT Restore Global
Restore Global was launched as a nonprofit organization in 2007 with a very simple vision – to help nonprofits maximize their impact.
Restore Global a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit that serves other nonprofit partners by reducing operating costs and providing supporting services. Our goal is to alleviate the stress of a tight budget and limited resources, allowing partners to focus on core programs and expand their reach in the community.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are always needed to process donations in the warehouse. Without the dedication of the volunteers, we would never be able to work towards our mission of multiplying the impact of our partners. Your time and support will change the life of an adult, a child, or perhaps an animal. Our end goal is to spread a message of hope to all who encounter the resources provided through Restore Global.
What to expect the day you volunteer with Restore Global?
Generally, groups, families, or individuals are scheduled for either a two- or three-hour time frame. Volunteering begins with a short tour of our facility and an overview about who Restore Global is and who we serve. We will follow up with a quick training session to explain the details of the day’s project.
Age & Dress Policy
Our Warehouse is a busy place of shipping and receiving, so the dock doors are generally open, and the warehouse is not temperature controlled. We suggest volunteers consider the outside weather when dressing – as it may be quite cool or warm in the warehouse; however, some tasks will be in a temperature-controlled environment. Closed-toe shoes are required when volunteering. Youth ages 17 and under may volunteer with a parent or chaperone.
All Volunteers (or the parent/guardian) are expected to sign a Waiver of Liability before volunteering in the warehouse.
