We here at Take Stock in Children Manatee are well aware of the impact that Covid-19 is having on our students. With the seemingly daily changes being announced regarding symptoms, school, and general social interaction- it is important for us to provide support in any way possible, including mental health! On August 31st, we hosted a workshop for our students featuring licensed clinical social worker George Simon. We covered a range of topics including stress and time management, navigating social expectations- and answered student questions live in the session!
